Comments on Draft tariff language

1. Please provide your organization’s comments on the Washington WEIM Greenhouse Gas Enhancements draft tariff language:

PacifiCorp generally supports the proposed changes to the draft tariff language for the Washington WEIM Greenhouse Gas Enhancements initiative. PacifiCorp recommends that the GHG Allowance prices calculated pursuant to 39.7.1.1.1.4 be publicly posted to aid in transparency of the market. Additionally, PacifiCorp supports the 39.7.1.1.1.4 price vendors being listed in the BPM rather than the Tariff as proposed.

PacifiCorp recommends changing “allowance auction is held in Washington” to “official allowance auction is held in by the State of Washington.” PacifiCorp also recommends changing “the allowance auction clearing price” to “the most recent allowance auction clearing price”.  

Separately, PacifiCorp asks if the gas price indices calculated by CAISO pursuant to 39.7.1.1.1.3(b) and (c) will be publicly posted and if so, where may the Company find the posted gas price indices?
