Outcome: This initiative clarifies the bidding obligations, notification of outage requirements to the ISO, and Resource Adequacy Availability Incentive Mechanism (RAAIM) obligations for use-limited and conditionally available resources, and clarifies the ISO tariff definition of run-of-river hydro resources to be RAAIM-exempt. In addition, this release includes details about an alternative Qualifying Capacity counting methodology for hydro resources with storage capability that would be RAAIM-exempt.
