This initiative will explore increasing settlement statement accuracy and timeliness, allowing sufficient time to resolve disputes and streamline the settlement cycle, and reduce administrative costs of processing disputes by identifying a dispute dollar threshold.
Outcome: The California ISO activated Market Settlements Timeline Transformation (MSTT) on Jan. 1, 2021. MSTT will benefit market participants by enabling the ISO to produce initial settlement statements that will more closely approximate the final settlement, and allow sufficient time for the ISO and market participants to resolve disputes.
