This initiative will consider possible changes to the ISO’s current volumetric Transmission Access Charge (TAC) structure for recovering participating transmission owners' costs of owning, operating and maintaining transmission facilities under ISO operational control. The ISO will consider stakeholder input on the initiative scope, which will include possible changes to reflect the benefits of distributed energy resources in reducing future transmission needs.
