INITIATIVE:
Maximum import capability stabilization and multi-year allocation

Started: Dec 03, 2019

Leads
Catalin Micsa

Through this initiative, the ISO will review and update the methodology used to calculate the Maximum Import Capability to make year-by-year fluctuations more stable, and propose to change the assignment process under Tariff section 40.4.6.1 from a year-by-year to a multi-year allocation process to allow for long-term contracting with resources outside the ISO Balancing Authority Area.
