The process begins with a mid-year stakeholder meeting to review the ISO’s current financial condition and solicit stakeholder input on priorities and assumptions for the following year’s revenue requirement. A second stakeholder meeting is held in the fourth quarter to present and discuss the draft revenue requirement, project budget, and resulting rates. Following stakeholder review and feedback, the proposal is finalized and submitted to the ISO Board of Governors for approval in December.
